I’m a huge fan of vintage travel posters. I love the simple lines and geometric forms of the art deco design. It takes you back to a day when traveling was grand instead of the the crazy headache it has become today.

I haven’t seen Pixar’s Up for personal reasons, but I am absolutely loving the movie inspired travel posters the Pixar artists created. Check out the wonderful work of Paul Conrad, Eric Tan (Journey into the Wild), Craig Foster (South American Air) and Eric Evans (Paradise Falls). Damn, I would give up a leg for some of their creativity.
